Here you will find application forms and information on how to apply for admission to Nyborg Gymnasium – including upper secondary programmes, IB programmes, and the boarding school.
Application period: 15 January to 1 March at 12:00 (noon)
You apply via the central application system for upper secondary education (optagelse.dk).
If you are applying for a place at the boarding school, you must also complete the boarding school application form (see the “Boarding School” section).
Pre-IB application form deadline: 1 February

(applies to both applicants from Denmark and international applicants, if admitted)
All applicants must complete the Pre-IB application form (Word or PDF).
If you wish to apply for the boarding school, you must also complete the boarding school application form (see the “Boarding School” section).

Sign the application.
Send the application together with the required documents by email to Sharon Austin (sha@nyborg-gym.dk).
If you are applying from Denmark, you must also apply via optagelse.dk during the period 15 January – 1 March at 12:00 (noon).
If you are applying from abroad and are admitted, you must subsequently complete an online application via optagelse.dk during the period 15 January – 1 March at 12:00 (noon).
(You will receive guidance from the school, as optagelse.dk is only available in Danish.)

The boarding school is for students who have been admitted to a programme at Nyborg Gymnasium (STX, HF, HHX, EUD, EUX, Pre-IB or IB).
You must both apply for the desired programme and submit a separate application to the boarding school.
The Word file is intended to be completed on a computer, while the PDF file can be filled in by hand.
